Sports Clinic
June 23rd-June 27th
Monday thru Friday

Boys & Girls Ages 7 to 12
Cost: $100 (Members)/$125 Non-Members
Boys and girls will be introduced to, or improve in 4 different sports including Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball and Taekwan-Do as well as receive overall fitness conditioning in this exciting clinic. Kids will spend 45-50 minutes on each sport with a short break for snacks each day. A sports drink and energy bar will be provided and they can bring extra snacks if needed. There will be an awards ceremony on the last day at noon, parents are invited. Tennis shoes, shorts and t-shirts are required each day.

Softball

Boys and girls will and improve on the fundamentals of softball: fielding, throwing and batting. Teamwork and conditioning will be emphasized with games and drills. Youth should bring their own gloves.

Travel Challenge

Boys & Girls Ages 6 to 17
Cost: $10
This is a great way to keep your kids active and healthy and away from the TV all summer long! Youth are encouraged to step up their summer activity levels and try something new as they virtually travel from Sonora to Washington D.C. earning “miles” by incorporating healthy habits every day. Fitness activities, eating healthy and brushing their teeth and drinking water are just a few of the ways youth can earn miles. Summer programs and exercise classes with mom and dad get you bonus miles too! Keep track of your miles on your travel log and turn it in each week. You can even participate while on vacation! Youth can challenge their friends to see who will reach the capital first! Great prizes available. Parents you are welcome to play too.

Boys and girls will learn or improve upon the fundamentals of volleyball while having a great time. The class will include drills for passing, setting, hitting, and serving. They will participate in scrimmages, 3-on-3 games and general conditioning. Teamwork and sportsmanship will be emphasized and encouraged.

Intro to Boxing Conditioning

Boys and girls will be introduced to basic skills and concepts of boxing. Non-contact only. Youth will learn general boxing terminology as well as boxing conditioning activities such as jump rope, pushups, and sit ups. Football Clinic

Speed Camp

Improve your 40 time, vertical jump, standing long jump and combine shuttle. This class will improve the performance of all athletesguaranteed or your money back (provided you attend EVERY camp day). You will also get a personalized weight training program focusing on power to complement the agility training.

Cheerleding

Kettlebells

This class is excellent for strength-building and conditioning. It is a low-impact, power-filled, fun workout. Kettlebells offer all-around fitness through a series of functional movements. All types of athletes use kettlebells from football players, cyclists, power lifters, dancers, swimmers and more. Whether you are looking to improve your game or just your health this summer, Kettlebells are for you.

Bring your three to five year olds to this beginning movement and movement exploration class. They’ll play games that incorporate flexibility and stretching, as well as activities involving dance, tumbling, and hand-eye coordination. The Summer Guppies group is a great 3-week introduction to swimming for boys and girls. The group will focus on technique and fun. The class is perfect for kids who love the water and want to swim with kids of the same ability and age Youth must be able to swim the length of the pool to participate.

Swimming & Conditioning for Teens

The class will offer an introduction to competitive swimming and is a great addition to water polo training while emphasizing technique and aerobic conditioning. Youth will be coached with TCA age-group swimmers but will be in separate lanes. What a wonderful way for your kids to interact with peers their own age in a healthy environment while getting excellent swimming conditioning! Instructor: Erica Watts

We Do Parties! 
Need a place to have a party for your kids? Three fun-filled hours at Sonora Sports & Fitness Center is an exciting way to spend your special day. You will have one hour of employee led games and activities of any theme of your choice (basketball, soccer, or any variety of activities), one hour of pool time (or a second hour of a group activity), and then a final hour in our special trainer’s room for presents, cake, or other festivities of your choice. You must provide your own decorations, for the room.
Cost for a three hour party with 10 kids - $150 Members, $175 Non-Members
Each additional kid (Max of 5 extra) $10
